The University of Mary Washington will host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Tournament this weekend, March 6 and 7, in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The UMW Eagles, seeded fourth in the championship and entering postseason play with a 24–3 record, will face Worcester State University on Friday at 7:30 p.m. The evening will begin with a 5:00 p.m. matchup between Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Amherst College. Winners from Friday’s games will advance to a second round contest on Saturday at 7:30 p.m., with a berth in the Sweet 16 at stake.
