Help the R-Board support our neighbors in need!
From November 1st to November 20th, we’re collecting non-perishable food items for the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank (FRFB) — because no one in our community should go hungry.
Why We’re Doing This:
The R-Board is dedicated to keeping our community clean, healthy, and thriving — and that includes helping families who are facing food insecurity.
Nearly 1 in 10 Fredericksburg residents struggles to put food on the table.
The FRFB provided more than 8.8 million pounds of food last year, helping over 51,000 neighbors in need.
Together, we can make a difference
For over 40 years, the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank has provided much-needed nourishment to individuals and families across the Central Rappahannock River Region. As part of our strategic shift toward health equity, we are working to ensure that everyone—not just those who can afford it—has access to nutritious, high-quality food that supports overall well-being. Food insecurity is a health issue contributing to higher rates of chronic diseases like diabetes and hypertension, and we are committed to addressing these disparities.
