23 Children Being Treated At Children’s Hospital For MIS-C

(DC)- Nearly two dozen children are being treated for a mysterious illness at Children’s National Hospital. The illness is called multi-system inflammatory syndrome. Just last week, there were only three cases at the hospital, and Virginia reported its first case Tuesday. Some of the symptoms include fever, rash, abdominal and chest pain, skin color changes, and rapid heart rate. Doctors say most kids will recover.
