Hampton University Offers Free Semester to Bahamian Students

(Hampton)- Hampton University is offering Bahamian students displaced by Hurricane Dorian an opportunity to attend the college for free during the spring semester in 2020.  This comes after the university already offered students from the University of Bahamas a chance to take classes for free in the 2019 fall semester following Hurricane Dorian.  University President Dr. William R. Harvey announced that students who are in good standing academically and socially will be able to return for the spring semester for free.  About four dozen students came from the University of Bahamas in September, weeks after Hurricane Dorian ravaged the Grand Bahamas Island
