(Spotsylvania)- Spotsylvania Supervisors could vote tomorrow on a plan to bring the Soap Box Derby to the county. Supervisors are being asked to use 15-thousand dollars from a Tourism Reserve fund. No contract has been signed, but a summary to the board says the event would likely be held at Dominion Raceway. After this year, a group of volunteers would run the event. A non-profit organization is being established. Fredericksburg Parks and Rec has decided to stop its sponsorship of the Soap Box Derby because of lagging attendance and interest.
