(Spotsylvania)- A well deserved honor for the head of the Virginia Renaissance Faire. The Electric Cooperatives of Virginia, Maryland and Delaware presented the Unsung Virginian Award to Cornelia Rutherford where she is most at home—The Ren Faire at the Lake Anna Winery in Spotsylvania. Rutherford tells us she’s “astounded” to have been selected. She says it’s an award for the cast of the Renaissance Faire. Rutherford says in a society that thinks it has permission to be rude, she strives to take the high road and look for ways to help people.
