On Saturday, March 7, 2026, walkers and runners will come together to walk/run either a 5K course or a 10K course on the site of the Battle of Payne’s Farm which happened during the Mine Run Campaign in the late fall of 1863. FOWB is hosting this event, in conjunction with Bishops Events, in hopes that people will learn more about this special place. The site is owned by the American Battlefield Trust, who has graciously given us permission to host this rally and is looking forward to getting the word out to more people to come and visit. This is a fundraiser for FOWB, and sponsorships are available! We hope you will support us!

The costs are in the registration, and participants receive a T-shirt and a medal. Sponsorships are available again this year and we would love to have your organization support our efforts toward historic preservation!
