Learn how to take life’s lemons and turn them into lemonade. An introduction to mindfulness for kids that will bring more calm, self-worth, and empathy to your child and your home! Each week students will participate in hands-on and interactive activities designed to strengthen their social-emotional skills. Group sessions will address: zones of regulation, coping skills, communication, self-esteem, self-advocacy, and a growth mindset. This six-week course will equip children with the necessary tools to feel more prepared in handling the adversities they may face.
One hour sessions once a week for six weeks
Upper Elementary and Middle School: rising 3rd-rising 6th (8-12 years old)
Monday 6/1, Monday 6/8, Monday 6/15, Monday 6/22, Monday 6/29, and Monday 7/6 at 5:30-6:30 p.m.
