‘Egg My Yard’ Brings Treats Right to the Door and Benefits Old Dominion Humane Society Rescue Dogs
Easter Goodies for Kids and Canines Delivered and Hidden
Skip shopping for treats, filling Easter eggs and hiding the goodies, and let the Old Dominion Humane Society (ODHS) “bunnies brigade” handle the work with “Egg My Yard.” The treats will be delivered and hidden at participants’ addresses on Saturday, April 4. Opt for 20 or 40 pre-filled eggs with a donation of $1 per egg. Eggs are stuffed with tasty candy for the kids or that special person and dog treats for a favorite four-legged friend.
“This is the third annual ‘Egg My Yard,’ and it’s a great way to support the rescue dogs at ODHS,” said Chrissy Hamilton, ODHS founder. “The volunteers will take care of preparing the eggs and hiding them, so the family can enjoy the fun. Of course, we didn’t want to leave out the dogs in the family and made sure there’s an option for them to join in with eggs filled with treats.”
“Egg My Yard” is offered to participants in the zip codes 22401, 22406, 22407 and 22408. Learn more about the fundraiser at https://www.olddominionhumanesociety.org/egg-my-yard.
