The Blue Star Mothers of Fredericksburg Chapter VA4 is gearing up for a holiday care package event beginning at 10:00 A.M. on November 1, 2025, at the Stafford Fire and Rescue Station at 20 Sebring Drive, Fredericksburg. We are requesting donations of the following items to be included in the care packages mailed to deployed service members: Powdered Drink Mixes, Tuna or Chicken foil pouches or pull top cans, Protein Bars, Peanut Butter Mini Cups, Oatmeal/Hot Chocolate/Cider, Ramen Noodles in cups, Microwave Popcorn, Crackers(individually wrapped), Cookies (individually wrapped), Hard Candy (individually wrapped), Shampoo/Conditioner(travel size), Feminine hygiene items, Hand/Body Lotion(travel size), Toothpaste/Toothbrush/ Dental Floss, Body Wash(travel size), Soap, Q-tips, Tissue (individually wrapped), Foot/Body Powder(travel size), Disposable Razors, Deodorant(stick only), Nail Clipper/Nail File, Cough Drops, Playing Cards, Crossword Puzzles-Sudoku.
The community is invited to help pack the boxes, and participants should arrive no later than 9:45 A.M. We are also seeking locations to host care package collection boxes.
