(Richmond)- The Virginia Senate is passing a series of LGBT-friendly legislation. The bills include a ban on conversion therapy for anyone under the age of 18, a creation of uniform policies for transgender students attending public schools, making it easier for transgender people to change their gender on their birth certificates, and removing language from the state code banning gay marriage. They cleared the Senate yesterday.
