Get ready for a spectacular Fourth of July Children’s Roll N’ Stroll celebration in Fredericksburg hosted by the Blue Star Mothers of Fredericksburg and sponsored by the Kiwanis of Fredericksburg and the Navy Federal Credit Union! Join the Children’s Roll N’ Stroll, where kids can pedal their decorated bicycles, pulled wagons, and pushed strollers in red, white, and blue. Line up at 9:00 AM at the VRE parking lot at Caroline and Frederick Street, with the stroll following to Market Square. Prizes will be awarded for the best adult and child patriotic costumes and decorated bicycle and wagon/stroller. Judging is from 9:10 to 9:20 AM, with winners announced at 9:25 AM. Parents are responsible for the safety and behavior of their children and must pick them up at the end of the stroll. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. Please note that no parking is allowed at the VRE lot, and floats or motors are not permitted.
Spectators are welcome to cheer on the participants as the event strolls out at 9:30 AM! Let’s make this Independence Day unforgettable together!
