(Richmond)- Authorities in Virginia are warning that crashes involving bicycles are on the rise. DMV says So far this year, there have been 160 bicycle-involved crashes on Virginia roads. They said it’s led to the death of nine cyclists, which is more than twice as many as at the same time one year ago. DMV says always wear a properly-fitted helmet, check your bike equipment before heading out and ride in the same direction as traffic.
