(Richmond)- While finishing your Christmas shopping, try to make time for a COVID test. That’s the advice of Dr. Melissa Viray of the Richmond and Henrico Health District. She says if you’re planning to be around lots of people this Christmas, or those who are older, immunocompromised or too young to get vaccinated, get the test before visiting. Dr. Viray says you should wear a mask, especially if you’re traveling, and make sure you put as many layers of protection between yourself and your family members.
