(Richmond)- Virginia health leaders are awaiting further guidance from the FDA regarding COVID booster shots. The state vaccine coordinator says that health personnel are ready to take on the estimated 250-thousand people who would likely line up for the shots. He says that would be if the FDA recommends the booster after eight months. Officials say the state has a number of plans ready to go when they more guidance from the FDA on Friday.
