(Loudoun)- A teacher in Loudoun County has been given the green light to return to work after a brief suspension. Physical education teacher Byron Cross was suspended after saying that he wouldn’t refer to transgender students by their preferred pronouns because of his own religious beliefs. An area judge said that the school system handled the situation the wrong way and ordered the school district to reinstate the teacher. Cross teaches at Leesburg Elementary School.
