Virginia Extends Eviction Moratorium

(Richmond)- Relief is on the way to Virginians struggling to pay their bills during the coronavirus pandemic. The state has extended the eviction moratorium through December 31st. That means that utility companies cannot disconnect your services if you are having problems keeping up financially. In addition, the state has shifted 12-million-dollars that will go towards rent and mortgage relief. Residents are still being urged to pay their bills on-time if they can do so.
