(Richmond)- Some financial assistance for Virginians will soon be a thing of the past. The U.S. Department of Labor has announced that they will end the Extended Benefits Program. The program gives extra financial help for those who have gone through their regular unemployment benefits and the Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation assistance. Those benefits will end this week. Further details will be provided to those who use the program.
