(Richmond)- Officials with Triple-A are giving motorists a few pointers if you must travel this holiday season. The association encourages everyone to get to know their vehicle better because some newer vehicles can go more than three-thousand miles in between oil-changes. Car owners should also check their tire pressure and tread depth for each tire at least once a month. They also are reminding everyone that cold air is normally the worst time for battery issues, so consider testing your battery if it is more than three-years old. Drivers should make sure their windshield wiper fluid is topped-off and the wipers work correctly by completely clearing the glass. You should check your owners manual for any other issues.
