(Petersburg)- Virginia State University is announcing plans to re-open its campus. School officials say students will be welcomed back for the spring 2021 semester, marking the first time the campus will be open since earlier this year when the coronavirus pandemic hit. Virginia State saw an enrollment drop of more than 20-percent when it decided to keep the campus closed this fall. It’s one of three colleges in the state to have remained closed so far.
