(Hanover)- Two school names in Hanover County are changing. The school board voted last night to change the names of Stonewall Jackson Middle School and Lee-Davis High School to Bell Creek and Mechanicsville. The changes come after a majority of respondents in a community survey wanted to keep the names just two years ago. Civil unrest this summer renewed the effort to change the names due to their ties to the Confederacy.
