State Ready To Provide PPE To Nursing Homes

(Richmond)- The state is ready with personal protective equipment if it is needed by any long-term care facilities. The Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association says all hospitals have a good supply for coronavirus patients, but more than 20 nursing homes may be lacking enough gowns or N-95 masks. Governor Northam says the state has a supply for these locations once they’ve exhausted their normal private supply chains. Virginia received nearly two-million pieces of personal protective equipment last week.
