(Arlington)- An advocacy group is pushing for protected bike lanes around Amazon’s new headquarters in Pentagon City. Sustainable Mobility for Arlington County is asking developers to build better infrastructure for new commuters and upgrade existing bike lanes. The group’s founder says they should go ahead and create protected bike lanes while they’re already pouring concrete and moving dirt. Amazon plans to hire 25-thousand employees for HQ2, which some fear will cause major traffic problems.
