(Nelson County)- A memorial program is coming up Sunday to commemorate the 50th anniversary of deadly flooding in Nelson County.  Storms in the wake of Hurricane Camille dropped two feet of rain in the area in August 1969.  The Historical Society will memorialize the 124 people from the County who died in a service at Nelson County High School.  Over 150 people in all were killed in central Virginia, making the flooding the state’s worst-ever natural disaster.
