AG Herring Calls For Marijuana Decriminalization

(Richmond)- Virginia’s attorney general is seeking to loosen marijuana laws in the state. Mark Herring wrote in an op-ed published in the Daily Press that Virginia’s policy on minor marijuana possession is needlessly creating criminals. He’s calling for decriminalization on possessing small amounts of pot, while eventually leading to regulated legal use by adults.
