(Richmond)- Richmond Public School’s Rodney Robinson is the 2019 National Teacher of the Year. He was announced the winner yesterday on CBS This Morning. He teaches at the Virgie Binford Education Center inside the Richmond Juvenile Detention Center. Robinson says his main focus is to help the most vulnerable kids in our society. He says our country is one of second chances, and his students deserve a second chance as much as anyone.
