Jury Hands Down Recommended Sentence For Fields

(Charlottesville)- A Charlottesville jury is recommending a life sentence for the man who drove his car into a crowd of counterprotesters at last year’s Unite the Right rally. The group called for James Fields to go to prison for life, plus 419 years and 480-thousand dollars in fines. The judge is set to formally sentence him on March 29th.  Jurors found Fields guilty of first-degree murder and nine other charges last week.
