Misrepresented: A Redistricting Roundtable

December 5, 2019 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

| Free

Sick of partisan gridlock? Care about accountable and responsive government? Want fair representation in Virginia’s legislature?

Come to OneVirginia2021’s redistricting roundtable to learn about taking effective action in your community to increase voter power!

As Virginia’s nonpartisan leader in the fight for a fair redistricting process, we’ve assembled a panel featuring leading local policy makers, advocates, and redistricting experts who will discuss the multidimensional picture of why gerrymandering matters– and how you can take action. We want you to walk away empowered, ready to bring fair maps to your communities!

You can RSVP here (http://bit.ly/1VArtRSVP), and bring some friends too! Kids are welcome to read children’s books in the corner and parking is available onsite. Bus stop ID: 5000743 is right in front, and the meeting room is wheelchair accessible. To minimize your environmental impact by carpooling, check out this spreadsheet (http://bit.ly/1VAkickoffcarpool)!

To learn more about how you can get involved before the meeting, contact Daela Taeoalii-Tipton at daela.tipton@onevirgnia2021.org. And don’t hesitate to reach out with other concerns or considerations. More information about OneVirginia2021 is available at OneVirginia2021.org
