(Charlottesville)- The owner of a prominent mall in Virginia has filed for bankruptcy. Washington Prime Group filed for bankruptcy last week. The group owns the Fashion Square Mall in Charlottesville along with others in Virginia Beach and Martinsville. A multi-million-dollar loan will help keep the malls open during the bankruptcy proceedings.
