(DC)- Changes with Metro. Beginning next month, Metrorail hours will be extended until midnight seven days a week, and as late as 1 a.m. on the weekends come September. Additionally, the weekend fare cost will be set at two-dollars for rail riders, and transfer fees between bus and rail will go away. Buses and trains will begin to operate more often as well later this summer. Most of the changes will take effect around September.
