(Alexandria)- An Alexandria woman is a millionaire after winning in the New Year’s Day lottery drawing. Clarice Chandler says “it was just by chance” she purchased a ticket at Royal Farms on Jefferson Davis highway in Fredericksburg. She just claimed her prize as one of four one-million-dollar winners in the drawing. The others were in Farmville, Portsmouth and Woodbridge.
