(Woodbridge)- A new Police Chief has been named in Prince William County. Peter Newsham will make the transition from DC to Prince William County. The Board of Supervisors made the announcement yesterday evening. Newsham has been the Chief of Police with the D.C. Police Department since 2017. He said in a statement that he’s excited to join the team and is eager to make a difference in the community. Chief Newsham is expected to begin his new role in February of 2021.
