(Prince William County)- A man who killed his wife and a Prince William County police officer three years ago is heading to prison for life. The judge sentenced former Army staff sergeant Ronald Hamilton yesterday to seven consecutive life sentences. Hamilton was found guilty last September in the shooting deaths of Crystal Hamilton and officer Ashley Guindon, who was working her first shift on the force. The Commonwealth’s Attorney says Hamilton deserved the death penalty.
