Marijuana Proposals Turned Down In Committee In Richmond

(Richmond)- House leaders are quickly turning down marijuana bills in Richmond.  The Courts of Justice subcommittee voted against proposals to legalize and decriminalize pot yesterday.  Governor  Northam pushed for decriminalization in last week’s State of the Commonwealth speech.  House Majority Leader Todd Gilbert acknowledged to the Richmond-Times Dispatch that Republican leaders know it isn’t the end to the conversation.
