(Culpeper)- A stunt pilot who crashed during an aerobatic exhibition in Culpeper is dead. Virginia State Police say Jon Thocker was conducting maneuvers on Friday night when his small plane crashed in a field near the Culpeper Regional Airport. Around 500 sponsors for the AirFest were watching when the plane went down. The FAA and NTSB are investigating the cause of the crash. The AirFest went on as scheduled the next day.
